Medicare Part B |
|
Medicare is available for people 65 years of age or older, certain disabled people under the age of 65 and people of any age with permanent kidney failure. Home medical equipment is covered under Medicare Part B which means Medicare will pay 80% of their allowable. The Part B deductible for 2008 is $135 and must be met each year. Home medical equipment is covered by Medicare if it is for use in and around the home and it must be medically necessary.
